Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Why does Daily.co.uk require a completed form?
This is required so we have a signed copy of any complaints that can be referred back to in the event the dispute is ongoing or if any legal action commences as a result of the complaint
The form also ensures all the relevant information for Daily.co.uk to pursue a complaint
For security reasons, Daily.co.uk would not take action against a customer's site (e.g. a request to take it off-line) if no specific details are provided or this request is submitted via a telephone call or general email.
Q. Will Daily.co.uk send me all the details of the customer hosting the site in question such as their name, address, contact details, payment information, site data etc?
Due to the Data Protection Act, we would only send specific customer details/data upon receipt of a completed data protection exemption form from the appropriate body (e.g. the police sending us a RIPA form)
Q. What if the site is not hosted with Daily.co.uk?
In many cases, a domain name may be initially registered via Daily but then redirected to hosting/email with another company. In such situations, the complainant would need to contact the company actually responsible for the site in question. Daily.co.uk will happily provide any details of the company in question based on publically available WHOIS records showing the nameserver information of the other company in question
