Email Sending Limits
Customers can send 250 separate emails in a 24 hour period from a mail client (for security and anti-spamming purposes, this amount is temporarily limited for brand new accounts)

Each individual email can contain a maximum total of 50 recipients in the "To" "Cc" and "Bcc" fields.

There is also a limit of sending no more than 50 emails in a ten minute period from the servers directly for example when using sendmail.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do you have these limits?
This is to both protect the integrity of our mail servers in terms of Spam reports and also make sure the server load and mail queue is not being used up by a handful of users.

It's vital I send over 250 emails a day!
If you need to send a mass email campaign, then we suggest using a service such as www.icontact.com rather than conventional email.

Please remember our shared servers are not specifically designed for mass-email campaigns. If you do have requirements like this then you would really need to be looking at a Virtual Server solution or a service similar to www.icontact.com.
