This article will guide you through the steps for adding your Daily Email Mailbox to the Microsoft Outlook 2013 email client.

This process is also the same for the Microsoft Outlook 2010 email client.

Please Note: This guide is for information only and we are unable to provide technical support for third party email clients.

The example shown is using Microsoft Outlook 2010 version and the email address we are adding is example@daily-example.co.uk for a Mr Helpful Support Agent. Please substitute these for your own email address and name



1) Go to the File option in the top left corner, select Info and then Add Account

2) Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types and then Next

3) Select Internet E-mail and then Next

4) Make sure the settings are as follows:

Your Name: This is the name people will see when you send them emails
E-mail Address: The email address you are currently adding

Account Type is IMAP
Incoming mail server is imap.daily.co.uk
Outgoing mail server (SMTP) is mail.daily.co.uk

User Name will always be your full email address again
Password is your mailbox password

Require logon using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) remains unticked

When you have entered the above fields, select More Settings...

5) Select the General tab and enter your Mail Account name. This is just for your reference on your computer so you know what mail account it is

6) Select the Outgoing Server tab and tick the box for My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication and select the option for Use same settings as my incoming mail server

7) Select the Advanced tab

Incoming server (IMAP) port is 143
Encrypted connection type is TLS

Outgoing server (SMTP) port is 587
Encrypted connection type is TLS

When finished, select OK

8) Select Next

9) Outlook will then perform a test of your new mail account. Once complete, select Close

10): Your mailbox is now added. Select Finish to complete the process
