Publishing with FTP
This article will show you how to transfer your files to your hosting space using FTP software. For the demonstration, in this article, we use Filezilla Client which can be downloaded from the Filezilla Website.

1) Open the Filezilla File menu, then click on Site Manager.

2) In the Site Manager window click on the New Site button, then type a name for your website.

3) Under the General tab, in the Filezilla Site Manager, you need to fill in the following fields:

Host: webhost.daily.co.uk
Port: 21
Server Type: FTP: File Transfer Protocol
Logon Type: Normal
User: [Your FTP username]
Password: [Your FTP password]

Click the Connect button, in the site manager, to establish a connection with the FTP server.

[You can find your FTP username, and change your FTP password, by going to the Hosting section in your Daily control panel.]


4) Open the public_html folder, in the bottom right hand window of Filezilla.

5) Select the files on your computer that you wish to upload to your hosting space, from the bottom left window in fileZilla

6) Drag the website files over to the bottom right window, to upload them onto the server.
