This article will guide you through the steps for adding your Daily Email Mailbox to the Mozilla Thunderbird email client.

Please Note: This guide is for information only and we are unable to provide technical support for third party email clients.

The example shown is using Thunderbird version 31.5.0 and the email address we are adding is example@daily-example.co.uk for a Mr Helpful Support Agent. Please substitute these for your own email address and name

1) Go to the settings icon in the top right corner, select Options and then Account Settings

2) Select Account Actions and then Add Mail Account

3) Enter Your name(this is the name people will see when you send them emails), Your Email address and your Password

Select Continue

4) Make sure the settings are as follows:

The Incoming drop down list should be IMAP
The incoming Server Hostname is imap.daily.co.uk
The incoming Port is 143
The incoming SSL is STARTTLS
The incoming Authentication is Normal Password

The Outgoing drop down list should be SMTP
The outgoing Server Hostname is mail.daily.co.uk
The outgoing Port is 587
The outgoing SSL is STARTTLS
The outgoing Authentication is Normal Password

Both the incoming and outgoing Username will always be your email address.

Select Done
